Located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, this zoo was conceived in 1934, as a complement to the menagerie of the Jardin des plantes. Its purpose is to observe animal behavior in a more suitable environment.
Feel the atmosphere of a safari as you walk through the 14.5 hectares of the zoo; there is plenty of space for the park’s extraordinary animals to be at ease and to roam in peace.
