Looking for a day of guaranteed fun with the kids, but don’t want to face the queues at Disneyland Paris? Why not take a trip to Parc Asterix instead? This popular theme park, inspired by the cult Asterix comic books, is located only 35km north of Paris.
The park is divided into different thematic areas, such as the Gaulish village, the Roman Empire, the Vikings, and the Greeks. Visitors can enjoy rides, shows, restaurants, and shops, as well as meet characters from comic strips. The park also offers special events and activities, such as the Halloween festival and the Christmas market.
What can you do at Parc Asterix?
At Parc Astérix, visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions and shows inspired by the Gaulish village and its inhabitants. The Gaulish Village: visitors can explore the village and discover the customs and traditions of the Gauls. They can also visit the houses of Asterix, Obelix, Getafix and other characters, and see how they live.
The Roman Empire: visitors can discover the world of the Romans and their conquests. They can visit the Roman camp and the arena, where gladiators and chariots compete. They can also ride the Roman roller coaster and other Roman-themed attractions.
The Vikings: visitors can discover the world of the Vikings and their adventures. They can visit the village of the Vikings, where they can see the ships, the forge and the market. They can also ride the Viking roller coaster and other Viking-themed attractions.

The park is open every day in April, almost every day in May (not Monday and Tuesday), and every day from June 1 to September 1. In September and October, the park is open only on weekends (except for the Halloween event, when the park will be open from October 20 to November 3
