Palace de Versailles – Visit a major monument of French and European history

This 17th century French castle is a lesson in luxury and opulence: hundreds of acres of landscaped gardens, more than 2,300 rooms, an immense collection of Renaissance art, an opera house and a 75-meter long Hall of Mirrors lined with mirrors and statues. Its designers did not do things by halves (its more than 1,200 fireplaces are proof of this!).

It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in France, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Get your tickets for the Palace of Versailles: you won’t regret it!

At the moment : Exhibition Horace Vernet (Until 17h of March 2024)

On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the coronation of King Louis XV, the Palace of Versailles pays tribute to him with an exceptional exhibition – Louis XV: Interests and Passions of a King. More than 400 works, some of which are presented for the first time in France, invite visitors to (re)discover the monarch beyond his role as king by deciphering his enigmatic personality.
