The Grand Palais Immersif is located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris (Metro Bastille) with the aim of offering a programme of immersive exhibitions. It is an innovative cultural venue that offers digital exhibitions in the original spaces of the Bastille Opera House, never before open to the public. Since September 2022, Le Grand Palais Immersif and Iconem (in collaboration with the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia) have been presenting the exhibition “Venice Revealed”, to be discovered until 19 February 2023.

This exhibition will make you discover and experience a miracle of engineering, architecture and art. Indeed, it will allow you to understand how, for several centuries, the magnificent city of Venice has been built on the unstable mud of a lagoon and struggles against the sea and its sinking into the water.
Through experiments, games, fun and immersive installations, and even a planetarium that takes you close to the stars, you will also have the opportunity to learn more about how science influences the world today.
The exhibition is divided into 4 chapters, each revealing a story about the city’s major sites: the Lagoon, the Grand Canal, St Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace.
This new exhibition format includes audiovisual, narrative, interactive and immersive elements that will fascinate young and old alike!
